Kale, Red Russian
Large leaves, softer, more tender and sweeter than other Kale varieties make the Red Russian one of our favorites. Kale is a staple food crop in our gardens! This is a very productive and tasty greens machine with it's softer leaves brings welcome change from fall greens requiring heavy cooking. Very striking in the garden, excellent as baby greens and so very prolific - an edible ornamental!
