Burgundy colored plants produce edible leaves when young. Older leaves can be steamed. At maturity, produces a white seed that is easily threshed. Can be ground into flour, or popped like popcorn. Start indoors 4 to 6 weeks before last frost date, planting at a 1/4" depth. When planting outside, a 10-12" spacing between plants is recommended. 175 seeds per pack.
